3 Akeem’s 747 Not Cleared For Take off
This one is an old school classic. The infamous Mega Powers vs Twin Towers match from Saturday Night’s Main Event is largely remembered for a spot in which Randy Savage was thrown through the ropes and landed hard on Miss Elizabeth, knocking her unconscious. Savage wasn’t the only one to take flight through the middle ropes however. Akeem went for a routine bounce of the ropes, but the Big Boss Man hit them a split second sooner, causing the top rope to stretch out and for Akeem to take a nasty looking backwards fall to the crash mats.
